Well I finally mustered up the energy to photograph some of the beautiful Oregon Thunder Eggs that I collected at Richardsons Rock Ranch in Madras Oregon over Memorial Day weekend.
These are just a few of the about 70 thunder eggs that I got from Richardsons. All I can say is if you can make a trip over to Madras Oregon you need to stop and get some of these world famous thunder eggs. Madras is about 70 miles north of Bend in Central Oregon. The fee for digging is .75 cents a pound.
Well here are a few more photographs of the thunder eggs and I will stop talking and let you enjoy the natural beauty of these rocks.
As soon as my batteries finish charging for my camera, hopefully this afternoon I will do a write up on how to take great photographs of your rock. The article is going to show how to build a 3 dollar light box to put your rocks in and be able to take pictures like a pro. No need to spend $100 on a light tent on ebay. So either today or tomorrow this article should be posted. Until then just enjoy the thunder eggs. Also if most of you have not noticed yes I love the thunder eggs.
