This weeks field trip was to Wagontown Idaho for some agatized Petrified Wood. Well Wagontown is situated on the Idaho and Oregon boarder area of the Owyhee mountains just about 10 miles from Silver City.

Yes another Idaho Quartz Crystal dig! Silver City Idaho is a very famous silver mining town situated in the Owyhee mountains of Idaho. Silver City is about 65 miles from my home in Boise and I am quite amazed that this trip took so long to get to.
